Make Money On The Internet

Make money on the Internet with social networking. This is a subtle way to present your business and yourself to other netizens without being obnoxious. Successful social net workers are helpful and offer fresh and appealing information to the ultimate consumer. Customers are the single most important piece of the puzzle if you want to make money on the internet.

Web 2.0 is the big talk lately and it seems everyone is joining on the next big wave to hit the internet. So what are some ideas to make money using Web 2.0?

Is is just a matter of joining MySpace, Facebook, Squidoo, or Hub? Does it mean the moment you sign up for one of the free accounts, you can access millions upon millions of people and pitch them your latest and greatest ideas to make money? Nope, I wouldn’t do that, but many people don’t seem to really understand the basic elements and etiquette of social networking.

Here are a few suggestions to make your experience an enjoyable one on social networking sites.

1. Don’t pitch people on your deal. I have seen many well designed social network pages and many bad ones. The bad ones stand out like a bad used car salesman. Cheesy is the word I would use to describe them. You know who you are and so do we.

2.Get to know people, make connections and yes make some friends. We can never have too many friends in my opinion.

3. Be kind and offer to help people with their business with ideas, tips, techniques etc. No I am not suggesting spending all of your time with someone who’s not in your business. But it doesn’t hurt you to help people because you never know when someone down the road is looking for another business opportunity. Who will they think of first? That’s right, you will probably be the on the top of their list.

4. Try and connect with a few people everyday if you are using social networking. For example, you could send them an instant message or email with something like the following opening. I noticed your profile, while waiting for someone online and thought I would say hello. Just create a friendly short conversation and that’s it. Don’t try and have a 10 or 15 minute dialogue with someone you just said hello to. Several short 1 or 2 minute conversations over the course of week and months, could pay big dividends in the future. You could find a potential home based business partner to help implement your ideas to make money on the Internet.
